We have published a plain-English guide to what “NPTC approved” actually means. The phrase “NPTC approved training centre” appears across the industry, and no such approval exists. NPTC has been part of the City & Guilds Group since 2004, and it is City & Guilds that grants the approval that does exist: assessment centre approval.
The guide explains who approves what, why there is no such thing as approval to deliver training in the City & Guilds NPTC system, and the four questions worth asking any provider before you book a course.
Great Oaks is a City & Guilds approved assessment centre. We deliver the training and we carry out the independent assessment.
