For established training providers and colleges. You deliver our City and Guilds NPTC courses under our brand and to our standards, in your own area. There is no licence fee and no territory grant.
Start an application See what we ask forWe get more enquiries than our own centre can deliver, in parts of the country we cannot reach from Preston. Rather than turn that work down or send people a long way to us, we place it with training providers who already do this properly in their own region.
You keep your own business, your own staff and your own sites. What you take on is our course material, our paperwork and our quality standards, and in return you get work routed to you and the Great Oaks name on the delivery.
This is not the franchise. There is no licence fee, no exclusive territory and no five year agreement.
Being approved as a Training Partner does not guarantee a fixed volume of work. How much comes your way depends on demand in your area, your availability, and how the delivery goes. We would rather say that now than have you build a plan around a number we have not promised.
You already run accredited training with your own trainers, sites and quality systems. Adding our courses uses capacity you have rather than capacity you have to build.
You deliver in-house training to a decent standard and want to take on external work in your area without setting up a centre from scratch.
Six courses are available to partners. All are City and Guilds NPTC.
We check all four before approving anyone, because your delivery carries our name.
Public liability, employer’s liability and professional indemnity, in place and maintained. We ask for the certificates, the insurer, the policy number, the limit of indemnity and the expiry date.
Each trainer named, with the courses they will deliver, their technical qualifications and their training and assessor qualifications. Certificates uploaded, not just described.
Access to local sites appropriate to the courses, and a described process for risk assessing and checking each one before a course runs.
Health and safety, safeguarding, equality diversity and inclusion, data protection, and a complaints procedure. In place and provided.
Two different things, and it is worth being clear which one you are reading about.

Plenty of partners start here and look at a franchise later. If the franchise is what you are after, read the franchise pages instead.
The application is thorough because the checks are real. Have your insurance certificates and trainer qualifications to hand. Your answers save as you go, so you do not have to do it in one sitting.
