Utility Surveyor

Salary: £32,000 – £33,995pa

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Utility Surveyor to join our team.

Role Overview: As a Power Line Utility Surveyor, you will be responsible for surveying and assessing vegetation in proximity to power lines, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will work closely with utility providers, tree cutting teams, and landowners to plan and coordinate vegetation management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting power line surveys to identify vegetation risks and hazards.

Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for vegetation management.

Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Liaising with clients, utility providers, and landowners to coordinate work.

Assisting in risk assessments and providing technical guidance where necessary.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work) – Preferably +F

Manual Handling Certification

UA1 (301) – Utility Arboriculture Basic Electrical Knowledge

UA2.1 (302) – Tree Cutting & Clearing in Proximity to Power Lines

UA5 (401, 402) – Utility Arboriculture Surveying & Planning

PTI (Professional Tree Inspection) – Preferable, but not essential
